About the School The International School Batam was established in 1999 by International School Foundation (Yayasan Sekolah Internasional) incorporated in Batam. The purpose of the Foundation is to provide an International School Facility in Batam as a facility for foreign residents here, and in turn encourage foreign companies with investments on the island to bring expatriate staff with families to Batam where schooling of an international standard can be provided. The International School Batam is a non profit organisation and financially transparent organisation supported and advised by the British International School , Jakarta and Employs the British National Curriculum in its teaching. Our mission is dedicated to the development, within students, the qualities and skills necessary to beconme confident, self motivated and responsible. To Seek by a variety of oppurtinities to ensure for each student the chance to develop his or her full potential as a commited and valued member of the community. |
